KIDS BJJ AGES 8+
Class duration: 60 minutes
Our senior kids class is a fun, but formal training session. Students will learn real jiu jitsu techniques for self defence and competition, in a friendly and safe environment.
The curriculum for our Children’s program is no different to that of our adults. The fundamental elements of jiu jitsu will be delivered in a simple, energetic and easy to understand manner by enthusiastic, experienced coaches, passionate about teaching jiu jitsu.
Children are graded in jiu jitsu (at no extra cost) by coaches on a continuous basis. And new members are invited to join us at any time during the term.
Each class is 60 minutes long, consisting of a warm up, technical practice, and sparring. There are no ‘games’ in this class, it is a serious martial arts class – but there is plenty of fun to be had in that!
We aim to guide students to become confident, fit, disciplined and humble martial artists. We believe in working hard with consistency, and coaches will always lead by example in this regard!
Students do not need any level of fitness or previous martial arts experience to get involved!
We are affiliated with the legendary ECJJA in Monkstown Co Dublin. Coaches Chris and Adam have received all their training under this affiliation and were awarded their black belt and purple belt respectively by head coach Darragh O’Conaill.
